There are two ways to look for a puppy
The fast way, and the right way. An honest map for families who want to make the choice only once.
There are two ways to look for a puppy. The first is to open Google and search for it like you would a toaster: "Bulldog price." "Mini Poodle discount." "Cheap Spitz." "Deliver now." The second is to pause for a moment. Breathe. And understand that you are not choosing an object. You are choosing a life. And this is where the difference begins between those who are simply looking for a dog… and those who are truly ready to welcome a puppy into their family. We at PUPPIFY want to state this clearly, without hypocrisy and without pre-packaged phrases designed to please everyone: if the first message we receive is: "Price?" we're probably not the right place for you. Not because the price isn't important. It is. But because when the only question is the price, it means you're looking at the puppy as a product. And a puppy is not a product. It's not a handbag. It's not a phone. It's not a pair of shoes. A puppy is a living being that you will bring into your home for the next 15 years of your life. It will sleep near your children. It will see you cry. It will see you laugh. It will be with you in the best and most difficult moments. And you really think the first sensible question should be: "How much does it cost?" The first question should be: How was it raised? Where does it live? How are the parents treated? What kind of food does it eat? What socialisation does it receive? How is it looked after? What documents does it have? How is its character developed? What kind of process do you follow with it? What kind of people are you? These are the right questions. Because a puppy's value isn't measured in price. It's measured in the peace of mind you'll bring home. We don't sell puppies. We create matches between families and puppies. And that difference changes everything. For this reason, we ask families to enter our world on tiptoes. With manners. With respect. With genuine curiosity. Because while you are choosing a puppy… we are choosing you. Yes. You read that right. It's not enough to have money. The internet is full of people ready to take your bank transfer. Full of adverts. Full of "super breeders". Full of "deals". Full of "last puppies available". Full of traders disguised as breeders. Full of traffickers who have learned to use Instagram well. Full of fraudsters with elegant websites and no conscience. That world does not belong to us. And we are not interested in belonging to it. We do not participate in the race for the lowest price. Because those who do good work cannot compete with those who cut corners on health, development, management, nutrition, vet visits, socialisation, and welfare. It's simple maths. If you're looking for a "bargain", you'll always find someone online willing to save you £100. Maybe even £200. Perhaps along with the puppy, they'll also give you: behavioural problems, separation anxiety, biting, compulsive barking, destruction of the house, fears, insecurities, vet expenses, dog trainers, and months of stress. But hey… you saved £150. Applause. Another thing we find deeply inelegant is this: "Is that puppy still available? So will you give me a discount?" No. And do you know why? Because the fact that a puppy is still available doesn't mean "no one wants it." It means WE haven't found the RIGHT family yet. The difference is huge. We don't clear shelves. We wait for correct connections. And while we wait, the puppy continues to grow. It continues to develop. It continues to learn. Between 4 and 5 months, a crucial thing happens: the puppy completes its imprinting with its mother and siblings, matures character-wise, learns social language, begins proper training, completes its health programme, finishes its vaccination cycle, develops greater emotional balance, begins to learn cleanliness and household management. In essence? We do all that work that many families don't see… but which completely changes the dog they will have for years to come. And this is where the part many don't want to hear comes in: a puppy given away too early is a problem you are buying in advance. Because a poorly separated puppy: will bite more, will have poor house training, will be more unstable, will cry more, will have emotional difficulties, will destroy the house, and will often require expensive trainers and behavioural programmes. Remember this well when you see "ready now" puppies online at improbable ages. Haste in our industry is almost always an enemy of well-being. And now to video calls. When we arrange a video call, we are not providing entertainment. We are not Netflix. We are not the puppy circus. We don't do "emotional showrooms" to pass the time. If we open the doors of our world to you, it's because we are looking for serious people. People who have thought things through. Conscientious people. Polite people. Truly interested people. Because the time we dedicate to those who only want to browse… we take away from families genuinely ready to welcome a puppy. And time, for us, has value. Just like the invisible work we do every day. So yes. We say it without hesitation. If you are looking for: the lowest price, a discount, a bargain, market haggling, "give me your best price", "it's cheaper elsewhere"… we're probably not the right place for you. And that's fine. Really. Because we don't want to be for everyone. We want to be for the right families. Those who understand the value of transparency. Those who understand what correct development means. Those who respect the work. Those who seek serenity, not shortcuts. Those who understand that a healthy, balanced, and well-raised puppy doesn't happen by chance. It comes from time. Expertise. Dedication. Ethical choices. Responsibility. And a lot of unseen work. If this way of thinking resonates with you, then we'd be delighted to meet you. Send us your application. Tell us who you are. Tell us about your family, your life, your perspective on animals. And perhaps, if it's the right match, you won't simply get in touch with us. You'll join the PUPPIFY family.
