Warning Signs in the Puppy's Passport
Erased data, illegible stamps, missing microchip: how to recognize manipulated documents.
A passport must be clean, complete, and traceable. Unclear or seemingly manipulated information should always be taken seriously.
Warning signs:
- erased, crossed out, or corrected data
- illegible stamps
- missing veterinary details
- missing product labels for vaccinations or treatments
- missing microchip
- inconsistent birth dates
- unclear breed description or indicated as «mixed breed», «breed-like» or similar formulations: in these cases, the breed is not clear and the information should not be considered as a reliable indication
